Sol y Sombra at Home beginning this May Bank Holiday!
These are unprecedented times, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy restaurant-quality meals on your Friday and Saturday nights (plus the Sunday of this May Bank Holiday)
Each week we will offer a menu based on locally sourced produce. Each dish will be cooked and chilled by us so that you finish or reheat it at home following our instructions. Our aim is to offer food that is as close as possible to restaurant quality, but ready within 20 minutes using your home microwave or oven.
Wine pairings to elevate each bite are also on offer.
We’ll publish the menu each week on Tuesday at Midday on our Social Channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) and our website. Our first menu will be published on Tuesday April 28th here: https://www.solysombra.ie/sol-y-sombra-at-home/
Orders can be placed by leaving a voicemail, sending us an email, or contacting us through Facebook or Instagram. We’ll call you back to take payment by card.
Please order ahead or on the day, as early as you can before 2 p.m., for collection between 5.30 and 7.30 p.m. We can also deliver within 8 km of Killorglin for a €9 charge and free to cocooners over 70 for orders over €60 (deliveries made 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.)
We will start our Sol y Sombra @ Home service on the May Bank Holiday Weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and run on Fridays and Saturdays of subsequent weekends.
We understand that Covid-19 is new ground for everyone, including us here in Sol y Sombra. We will rely on your valuable feedback on this new service to ensure we learn, grow, and adapt what we offer for you to enjoy.
